The licensing inspector conducted a subsidy health and safety inspection Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 1:45pm to 5:15pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The children were observed resting on mats and cots, later the school age children were observed arriving to the center from school. The infants were observed playing on the floor and being changed. All classrooms and playgrounds were inspected today, as well as the facilities mini buses. The on-site pool was inspected as well. Five children?s records and five employee records were reviewed during this inspection. The center administers medication and it was reviewed. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 05/31/2018 Last shelter-in-place drills: 03/01/2017 Last lockdown drill: 02/15/18 Last fire inspection: 05/29/2018 Last health inspection: 04/30/2018 Total enrollment today: 76 Today, the following child to staff ratios were observed: Infants ?8:2 Toddlers ?9:1(rest time ratio) Twos ? 11:1(rest time ratio) Threes ?19:2(rest time ratio) Pre-K ?15:2 (rest time ratio) School Age ?26:2 A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
