An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 07/13/2018, from 10:20am - 1:45pm. At the time of the tour there were 40 children in care with 6 staff. The children ranged in age from 8 weeks - 9 years. Children were observed during outdoor play, lunch and nap. Records were reviewed for eight children and nine staff. *No medication is being administered at this time. The violation is listed on the violation notice and was reviewed with the program director at the conclusion of the inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-130-A Description: Based on record review and interview, the center failed to obtain documentation that each child has received the immunizations required by the State Board of Health before the child can attend the center. Evidence: 1. Child 1, enrollment date 04/23/2018, lacked documentation of required immunizations. a. Child 1 was in care during the inspection. 2. Administrative staff verified that immunizations were not on file for child 1. Plan of Correction: Child 1 received his immunizations yesterday , July 12th. His mother will bring documentation of these immunizations on Monday, July 16th.
