The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced monitoring inspection from 9:15am - 1:15pm. There were forty one children in care: six infants with two staff, four toddlers with one staff, seven two year olds with one staff, seven 3 year olds with one staff, eight 4 year olds with one staff and nine preschoolers with one staff. Two additional staff were also present. The children were observed playing with play dough, playing on the playground, in group activities and playing a game. Five staff's records and five children's records were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-A Description: Based on record reviews, the center failed to have all staff complete a tuberculosis screening within 21 days of employment. Evidence: 1. The inspector reviewed five staff's records. One of five records reviewed (staff record #1) did not contain a tuberculosis screening and staff's date of employment was 06/13/18. Plan of Correction: The staff will have a tuberculosis screening tomorrow.
