Comments:
Licensing inspector arrived at 9:43am and departed at 11:00 am to conduct a licensing inspection and a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of the tour there were 10 children in care with 3 staff ad two volunteers . Children were observed during story time, dancing, singing and preparing to make airplanes. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 5 staff records. Areas of non-compliance was reviewed with the director.

Description: Based on record review, the licensee did not ensure there was written allergy care plan for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic to and steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction. Evidence : During the inspection conducted on July 25, 2018 , record for child #1 was diagnosed by physician a food allergy but there was no instructions from a physician the steps to be taken in event of allergic reaction.

Plan of Correction: Will contact the parent to send the allergy action plan.
