An unannounced Subsidy, Health and Safety Inspection Inspection was conducted beginning at 9:00 and ending at 12:00. There were 57 Campers in care with 8 staff. The inspection was done in conjunction with a licensing monitoring inspection. Reviewed emergency drills - see violation notice Reviewed requited staff training - see violation notice. Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E-1 Description: Based on a review of required training for Staff, it was determined that one staff did not have CPR training wthin 30 days of hire. Evidence: Staff A did not have CPR training Plan of Correction: Administrative staff will assure that all staff have required training or they will not be allowed to continue to work.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E-2 Description: Based on a review of staff files, it was determined that one staff did not have current First Aid Certification. Evidence: Staff A does not have First Aid Certification within 30 days. Plan of Correction: Asdministrative staff will assure that all staff will have required training.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-032-A Description: Based on a review of facility drill logs, it was determined that there was no documentation of a lockdown drill. Evidence: In addition to emergency escape drills, there was no Lockdown drill documented. Cited at last inspection. Plan of Correction: One Lockdown drill will be done annually.
