An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the assistant director beginning at 10:30 AM and ending at 2:10 PM. There were seventy-seven children in care during the inspection. The children's ages ranged from 9 months through 11 years old. The junior kindergarten and school-aged classes were observed leaving for a field trip to go bowling. One infant was observed sleeping. The preschool aged children were observed playing with toys, being read a story, and playing on the playground. Eight children's records and five staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Two medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 7/11/18. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 5/10/18. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 3/9/18. The most recent fire inspections was documented 11/20/17. The most recent health inspection was documented as 10/6/17.
