An unannounced inspection was conducted from 1210-1:00. There are 17 enrolled and today there were 17 children ( 2 years-6 years) present with 3 staff. The inspection included review of staff files to verify finger prints and CPS clearances were current. There are staff members with MAT but the program stated no one is currently enrolled that requires medication. The groupings were in ratio and the inspector discussed the daily schedule. An evacuation drill was not conducted in July but staff stated they were closed during that time. Please call with questions 703-479-4679.

Plan of Correction: We will request the information and update files.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-290-3 Description: Based on observation, the center did not ensure outlets remain covered with protective covers when not in use. Evidence: 1. The fours classroom had children present and there were two outlets exposed. Plan of Correction: We will keep covering them.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-380-A Description: Based on review and observation, the center is not following the posted daily schedule. Evidence: 1. At 1215 the Inspector observed all the lights out in the two classrooms and children were on their cots in both classes. 2. The Daily Schedule in both classes stated lunch was from 12:00-1:00 and that Nap was 1:00. Plan of Correction: We will follow the schedule closer.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K.
