Technical Assistance:
Discussed with the center about straps for the infant activity table and reviewing the the playground procedures.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted at the facility on August 8, 2018, from approximately 10:07 am- 12:30 pm. Upon entrance there were fifty children with ten staff. Additional staff was present during the inspection. The licensing inspector observed the children freely playing outside, bathroom breaks, preparing for nap and eating lunch. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 5 staff records. Exit interview was conducted with the staff in charge.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-500-B
Description: Based on observation, the licensee did not ensure the diapering surface was used only for diapering or cleaning children and the diapering surface was a nonabsorbent surface for diapering. Evidence: During the inspection conducted on August 8, 2018,the following was observed: -In the Lady Bug classroom, there was a pink bunny on top of the diapering surface.

Plan of Correction: Review diaper procedures with staff and children to know that is for changing only.
