- Technical Assistance:
Licensing inspector discussed the merging of subsidy regulation as well as the requirements for children's records (60-A) with director.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 10am-12:30pm There were approximately 70 children in the direct care and supervision of 19 staff. A sample of 7 children?s records, 5 staff records and 3 medications were reviewed. The children were observed playing outside, reading books and during field day. Licensing inspector overheard parent thanking staff for their "hard work" and contribution to the lives of her and her child. Zero new staff members have been hired since the last inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on record review, children's records were incomplete. Evidence: 7 of 7 Children's records reviewed were missing information. Children A-G were missing the employment information of both parents. Plan of Correction: The forms will be updated for the next school year to include all required information.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-280-B Description: Based on observation, hazardous substances were not kept in a locked place. Evidence: In Room 1 Disinfectant spray and wipes were found in a gray unlocked cabinet. Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection
