Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 10:00am to 12:00m. There were 41 children in direct care and supervision of 17 staff members. The children were observed singing songs, creating family art, playing outside and reading books. 5 children's and 5 staff records were reviewed. Emergency drill records and supplies including the first aid kit was reviewed. There were no medications on site. Areas of non compliance are listed in the violation notice. Violations:
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C
Description: Based on record review, the center did not obtain subsequent Tuberculosis (TB) screening results from staff every two years. Evidence: Staff # 1's most recent TB screening was dated 8/23/16. The TB screening expired on 8/23/18.

Plan of Correction: Staff is going today to get updated TB screening.
