An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:30am-11:40pm. The inspector met with the new director Jenni Brown. There were 27 children directly supervised by 5 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 5 children?s records, required inspections, insurance, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed participating in learning centers to include: blocks, painting, hammering, and listening to audio books while reading. Hand-washing procedures were also observed. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. Positive interactions and smooth transitions between activities, clean up and dismissal were also observed. The center was clean and organized. No violations were cited during today's inspection.
