A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 from approximately 8:45 am 12:30 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. During this inspection, there were 36 children in care with 7 staff present in the classrooms. The licensing inspector observed the children in care participating in a variety of activities to include eating their snack, listening to soft music, reading, working on alphabet sounds, vowels and consonant blends, and transitioning to chapel. The first aid kit and emergency supplies, posted emergency contacts, fire, and shelter-in-place drills were reviewed by the inspector. During this inspection, there were five children's records and five staff records reviewed. The center's classrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas were inspected. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found. If you have any questions about this inspection, please contact you licensing inspector, Tiffany Harris, at (757)-403-3045.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information.
