Discussed with the Owner/Director; Out of state CPS check. Also discussed making sure that the Certificate of Occupancy is updated before October 22, 2018.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted beginning at 10:40 and ending at 12:15. There were 12 children present with 3 staff . Children were ages 3 months - 4 years , Children were observed participating in small group activities and eating lunch. Reviewed three staff records - see violation notice. reviewed 4 infant files - complete There are no children on medication at this time. Diector and one staff person have MAT - Medication Administration Training. Four classrooms are set up and have children in care. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C Description: Based on a review of the staff records for the three staff who are present today, it was determined that 1 staff person did not have an up to date TB test/screening. Evidence: Staff #3 had a TB test that was over two years old. Plan of Correction: The Director will have the staff person get a new TB test or screening this week.
