An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm. There were 39 children in care being supervised by 6 staff members. The children were observed preparing for nap and napping. Lunch served today is chicken patty on wheat roll, peas, applesauce, and milk. Seven staff records and one agent record was reviewed and in compliance. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. An allergy list was posted for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Allergy care plans were reviewed for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Staff training was reviewed for completion of CPR, First Aid, and Virginia Pre-Service Training. One medication was reviewed. There are currently three staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified.
