Comments:
An unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office. Observations were conducted in the infant and preschool rooms relating to the allegation of ratio. The information gathered during the investigation does support the allegation, so the complaint is determined to be ?valid.?

Description: Based on observation, interviews and time logs, the center failed to ensure that all ratios were met. Evidence: 1. Observed on Wednesday July 11, 2018 the infant/toddler side of the building was out of ratio. There were 10 infants and toddlers (14 months old - 2 years) with staff # 3. The tenth child arrived at 7:18 A.M. The required ratio for this grouping is three staff members. The second staff person clocked in at 7:19 A.M. At 7:19 A.M. there were ten children with staff # 3 and 4. The required ratio for this grouping was three staff members. At 7:30 A.M. two additional staff arrived and the one grouping of children was divided into age groupings. All grouping were in ratio at 7:30 A.M.

Plan of Correction: The PD has adjusted the staffing and scheduling to ensure that ratio are being met on a daily basis.
