A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted this date to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance, 41children were in care with 4 staff members present. Children were engaged in group activities, sand art and games in the gym. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-B Description: Based on record review, staff does not have documentation of Virginia Preservice Training. Evidence: Staff #1 works at this SACC in the morning, there is no documentation of the staff's Preservice training. Plan of Correction: Staff will provide a copy of the training, it will be maintained at this center.
Standard #: VENDSUB-000-012-E Description: Based on record review, staff does not have documentation of current certification in first aid and CPR . Evidence: Staff #1 does not have documentation of certification in first aid and CPR. Staff #1 works at this program in the morning hours. Plan of Correction: Staff will get copies of certifications to maintain at this SACC program.
