Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from approximately 2:30pm-4:25pm. There were 31 children in the direct care and supervision of 4 staff. A sample of 5 children?s records, 4 staff records and 5 medications were reviewed. The children were observed on the playground, playing with toys, playing on the computer, making art and eating snack. 1 staff member is new to this location since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the administrative teacher. If you have any questions, contact Kimberly.Sawyer@dss.virginia.gov.

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-E
Description: Based on record review and interview with staff, the center did not maintain a record of the dates of the practiced drills for one year. Evidence: The documented drills practiced were from this school year. Staff A stated that they were not kept in the center.

Plan of Correction: We will maintain the records at the center for a year.
