Discussed appropriate playground equipment for your age groups and ways to ensure that the equipment used is age and stage appropriate and comply with the Consumer Product Safety Commission's recommendations.
An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted this date. A total of 45 children on site today with a total of 10 staff. All four classrooms were observed today. The rooms were decorated with autumn theme art projects completed by the children such as tissue paper colored leaves, fall leaf wreaths and spiders. The topic of apples was on display as well. Hand washing procedures observed today along with diapering. Children were observed transitioning to outside play. Staff were observed positioned strategically to ensure adequate supervision both on the playground and in the classrooms. Positive interaction observed with staff assisting children with rolling out playdoh and making shapes with cut outs. Lunch today was turkey burritos and fruit. All medication on site was reviewed, a total of 5 children and 5 staff records were reviewed along with annual staff training. Previous violation from the May inspection was reviewed and corrective action was verified. This inspection began at 10:15am and ended at 12:50pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
