Discussed with center management staff and children records.
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 10:10 am to 12:45pm. There were 110 children in care and supervision of 32 staff members. The children were observed doing sponge painting, playing with floor puzzles, table top manipulatives, playing outside, listening to stories and singing songs. 5 children and 5 staff records were reviewed. Attendance records, emergency drill records, emergency preparedness plans, injury reports and medications were reviewed. Areas of non compliance are listed in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A Description: Based on record reviews, center did not maintain complete staff records. Evidence: Staff # 1, Staff # 2 and Staff # 3's records did not have the first date of employment listed. Plan of Correction: First dates of employments were documented during the inspection.
