An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 3:30 PM and ending at 5:10 PM. There were 50 school-age children in the care of four staff members. The children were observed playing table top games and drawing. The children were observed eating snack which consisted of dry cereal and milk. Some children were observed eating snacks from home. Hand washing procedures were observed and in compliance. Seven children's records and four staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Six medications were observed and in compliance. The outdoor play area was not able to be inspected due to inclement weather. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as 08/28/18. The most recent shelter in place drill was documented as 08/02/18. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 01/22/18. The most recent health inspection was documented as 02/15/18. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 6/6/18.
