07/03/2018 Arrived 11:30am Departed 12:50pm An unannounced complaint inspection was conducted today as a result of information reported to the licensing office concerning staff/child ratios. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-350-C Complaint related: Yes Description: Based on observation on July 3, 2018 during lunch, the facility failed to insure that in a mixed age group, the staff-to-child ratio applicable to the youngest child in the group shall apply to the entire group. Evidence: 1. Twenty children were present with two staff. The group included six two year olds and 14 three and four year olds. Plan of Correction: The program administrator will insure that when age groups are combined that the ratio for the youngest child is followed.
