Comments:
Thank you for your time and assistance with the unannounced monitoring inspection conducted today, October 9, 2018. The on-site inspection was conducted from 1:45 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. On this date, there were 21 children in one group and in the care of two staff members. The total enrollment for the program was 46 children. Four staff members' records and five children's records were reviewed. The medication and medication paperwork were for two children. Two staff members and five children were interviewed. There were no violations of the licensing standard observed during the inspection. The children enjoyed a field trip to Culpeper Sports and Fitness where they played tennis and did strength and conditioning training. Snack consisted of animal crackers and juice. Some items observed and reviewed during the inspection included arrival procedures, hand washing and bathroom procedures, large motor play in the gym, transitions, snack, transportation procedures, homework time, table games, required posted information, current health and fire inspections, first aid supplies, emergency supplies, documentation of evacuation, shelter-in-place and lockdown drills, and dismissal procedures.
