Discussed proceedure for assigning a child to an age group before they have reached the qualifying age.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:15am-1:40pm in response to an incident reported by the center about child supervision. There were 113 children directly supervised by 25 staff. The physical plant, 5 staff records, 13 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. The center was preparing to host a book fair event. Children were observed transitioning to nap. There was an abundant supply of materials for the children. The center was clean and organized. No violation citations were issued as a result of today's inspection.
