Technical Assistance:
Reminder that the MAT certificates expire in November. They are waiting for the Fire Marshall to schedule the annual inspection.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:10 am-11:45. There were a total of 35 children with 6 staff members present. This is the first inspection with the preschool program at the Griffin school. They are using rooms #1, #2 (old MP) and #3. The multipurpose room within the Library was measured for after school use. Children were observed engaged in group activities, Lincoln logs, manipulatives, coloring, tracing letters and sensory table. A selection of staff and children records, medications and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Description: Based on record review, the center has not implemented a monthly practice drill. Evidence: There was no documentation of a practice evacuation drill for the months of April and May 2018.

Plan of Correction: We will conduct monthly drills and document on the log.
