Standard #: 22VAC40-185-510-A Description: Based on a review of medications and authorizations, the center has kept medication on site without parental permission to administer the medication. Evidence: Child #3 has emergency medication kept on and there is no written authorization from the parents to administer the medication. Child #4 has emergency medication kept on site and the authorization that has been provided is a permission form for the public schools to administer the medication, which does not authorize CASA to administer. Child #5 has emergency medication kept on site and the parents have not filled out the medication authorization form in it's entirety. Plan of Correction: We will talk to the parents about obtaining new forms to be signed.

Evidence: Child #5's medication authorization expired 8/14/2018 and the medication was kept on site. Plan of Correction: We will talk to the parents about obtaining new forms to be signed.
