Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 2:30pm-4:00pm At the time of entrance, 68 children were in care of 7 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in group activities and outdoor play time. A selection of 5 staff records, 6 children's records, medications, injury reports and other documents were reviewed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-240-D-1
Description: Based on interview, a staff member present had not satisfactorily completed a training program to administer an emergency medication on site. Evidence: A rectal emergency medication for Child #1 was observed on site. Staff #1 stated that no staff are currently trained to administer a rectal medication.

Plan of Correction: We will take the training and add the documentation to the record.
