Discussed with the Director: If physical states a food allergy but no medication is provided, please have parent provide you with an Allergy Action Plan or evidence that the child no longer has that allergy. Also discussed the new subsidy regulations including no longer posting allergies but having the information accessible to staff.
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted in conjunction with a Licensing Monitoring inspection. The inspections began at 11:00 and ended at 1:30. There were 46 children present, ages 3 months - 4 years with 9 staff and 3 administrative staff, Children were observed at lunch and settling down for nap, Reviewed staff and children's files - complete Accident reports were complete Emergency drills including lockdown drills were up to date.
