An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with a monitoring inspection. The SHSI was conducted with the zone leader and area manager beginning at 5:05 p.m. and ending at 6:30 p.m. There were 13 school aged children in the care of three staff members. The children were observed concluding homework time with the EEC teacher. Children were also observed reading, drawing and coloring, playing with cars, and playing academic games on the program's tablets. Nine children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Three staff records were reviewed. One medication was reviewed and in compliance. One allergy care plan was reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill was documented and in compliance. The most recent emergency lockdown drill was documented as 9/04/18. The most recent fire inspection was documented as 12/04/17. The most recent health inspection was documented as 6/08/18.
