Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:30 - 11:00am with the center owner. There were 20 children, ranging from three months to four years of age, present with four staff supervising. Children were observed singing, watching an age appropriate video, coloring, and eating homemade applesauce. Three children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Two staff records were reviewed and in compliance. There were no medications to review. Description: Based on observation, it was determined that not all hazardous substances were kept in a locked place, inaccessible to children. Evidence: Clorox wipes were observed on a table in the hallway and hand sanitizer was observed on top of an open shelf in room 2.

Plan of Correction: Hazardous substances were locked during the inspection.

Description: Based on observation, it was determined that cleaning and sanitizing materials were located above food. Evidence: A cleaning/sanitizing solution was observed on a shelf in the kitchen above a cabinet of food.

Plan of Correction: The hazardous substance was moved to a locked storage closet during the inspection.
