Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. There were 44 children in care being supervised by 3 staff members. The children were observed participating in table top activities, crafts, and preparing for lunch. A list of allergies were observed for children enrolled in the program with diagnosed food allergies. Those children enrolled with diagnosed food allergies had an allergy care plan on file. Six medications were reviewed and in compliance. There are two staff members on site who are MAT (Medication Administration Training) certified. Staff records were reviewed for completion of Virginia Pre-Service Training, CPR, and First Aid training. The most recent shelter in place drill was conducted 09/21/2018.
