A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/7/18 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannoucned renewal inspeciton was completed on 11/7/18. There were 156 children present . Ten children's records, 13 staff records, and five Board officer/agent records were reviewed. Six medications were also reviewed. The inspector arrived at the center at 8:00 am and departed at 4:00 pm. The children were observed during arrivals, during breakfast, during outside times, during free time/free choice activities, during lunch, and during nap. Infant activities were observed. Four classroom observations and two outside observations were made. The new subsidy requirements were reviewed with the director. A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
