At the time of the inspection, there were 24 children (ages infant through preschool) in care with five staff. Children were participating in indoor and outdoor activities. There was no medication being stored or administered on site. The sample size was five staff and five children's records. Violations associated with this inspection are on the attached violation notice.

Violations:
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-B-3
Description: Based on review of three staff records, it was determined that the facility did not ensure that any staff member who had lived outside of the state of Virginia in the last five years obtained a child protective services check from that state. Evidence: The record for staff #2 indicated that she had lived in Texas within the past five years. There was documentation in the record that it had been sent for but no received or checked on.

Plan of Correction: Center management will follow-up on Texas background check and ensure that results are received.
