Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection from 9:50am - 12:45pm. There were sixteen children in care with four staff: four infants and toddlers with one staff, six 2's and 3's with two staff and six preschool/school age children with one staff. The children were observed coloring, listening and moving to music, watching cartoons and during nap time. Five staff's records and five children's records were reviewed. One violation from the previous inspection had been corrected. Areas of non-compliance are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-160-C
Description: Based on record reviews, the center failed to obtain a repeat tuberculosis screening every two years from a staff. Evidence: 1. The inspector reviewed five staff's records. One of five records reviewed (staff record #3) contained a tuberculosis screening that was dated 11/01/2016.

Plan of Correction: The director will ask the staff to obtain a new tuberculosis screening.
