- Technical Assistance:
New subsidy requirements became effective on October 17, 2018. The facility has not yet complied with the following requirement: "Continuity of care;maintaining essential functions" The facility is to review the new requirements and work with their assigned inspector to ensure future compliance. Memo provided tothe facility.
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 11/21/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There are 16 children present with 2 staff. 2 staff records were reviewed for specific items only, as the full record is reviewed at the main office at another time. 3 children's records were reviewed. All were complete. Children were observed washing hands, eating breakfast, playing with a variety of activities, toys and games. The playground was not inspected today due to inclement weather conditions at the time of the inspection. There are no medications, or children with allergies at the facility. Emergency escape drills, emergency supplies, first aid supplies are all in compliance. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
