Comments:
An unannounced renewal visit was conducted today beginning at 9:15am and ending at 12:00pm. The physical space, emergency supplies, evacuation drills, attendance records, injury reports, medications, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, 8 children's records and 8 staff records were reviewed. Ratios were in compliance and required documents were posted. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. The children were observed in circle time, singing "Days of the week" and "ABC's", counting in Spanish and English, working on reindeer art projects, dancing to music, listening to the teacher read a story and coloring a bicycle in Spanish Class. Interactions between the children and staff were positive. The classroom walls were decorated with the children's holiday art work. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice.
