An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between 8:40am and 10:10am. 27 children were directly supervised by 7 staff members at the beginning of the inspection. Ratios remained in compliance. The physical space, 6 children's records, 4 staff records, evacuation drills, the Emergency Preparedness plan, injury/behavioral reports and medications were reviewed. Required documents were posted. Overall record keeping was in good order. Classrooms contained an abundant supply of materials and age appropriate artwork was displayed throughout. Children were observed eating morning snack (Cheerios, apples & milk), playing in small groups and interacting with staff members. Interactions were positive.
