Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between 10:50am and 12:25pm. Classroom ratios were in compliance. The physical space, 5 children's records, 5 staff records, evacuation drills, medications, injury reports and required posted documented were reviewed. Medical policies were well organized. The space was clean, organized and contained developmentally appropriate materials in each classroom. The new infant room was inspected and in compliance. Children were observed in small group activities, during music class and preparing for lunch. Today's lunch was spaghetti with meatballs, pears, salad and milk. Interactions between the staff members and children were positive. No violations were cited today. For questions regarding this inspection, please contact stephanie.salvatori@dss.virginia.gov.
