63.2(17) License & Registration Procedures

Comments:
A renewal study was conducted the the director and assistant director for the site. There were 64 children in care and the age range of the children was five months to four years old. Children were observed during lunch time, rest time and free play. There are six staff that are current in MAT and all staff are current in first aid and CPR. Eight children's records were reviewed and all required paper work was posted. inspection time 11:15am-1:50pm.

Description: Based on review off seven staff files not all staff that have lived out side of the state of Virginia in the past five years had a search of central registry from all the states they lived in. Evidence: Staff A with a hire date of 4/11/18 Lived in Texas with in the past years and did not have a search of central registry from that state.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection. The director contacted the registry in Texas and no records were found.
