Consulation provided on using the new sworn disclosure statements on our public VDSS web site. Reminder that escape drills must be conducted monthly and the shelter in place drills are in addition to the monthly escape drills.

An unannounced renewal study was conducted today with the director who was present with two additional staff and 21 children who were engaged in free play and preparing to have their afternoon snack of apples, crackers and water. Three medications were reviewed for three children. Three staff and two board member's files were reviewed as well as 7 children's files. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-260-A Description: Based on a review of the fire inspection and an interview with the director, it was determined that there was no documentation of an annual fire inspection. Evidence: The most recent fire inspection is dated 9/14/17. Plan of Correction: We will obtain the up to date fire inspection report from the fire department.
