Consultation provided on documentation required for the position of Director and out of state background check requirements. Consultation provided on sight supervision in the Schoolager classrooms as the walls can obstruct sight supervision- positioning in key in making sure all children are under supervision.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the Executive Director. Eighty-six children were present wiht 13 staff providing supervision. The schoolagers were on site due to schools being closed today. Most of the children were eating lunch during the walkthrough, which consisted of chicken nuggets, corn, pears and milk. Seven staff and children's files were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. Twelve medications were reviewed for seven children. Fire inspection: 12/10/17 Health inspection: 3/9/18 The playground was not inspected today. Arrival time: 12: 15 pm Departure time: 3: 35 pm

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-440-B Description: Based on observation and an interview with staff, it was determined that cribs for two infants were not identified for use by a specific child. Evidence: In the Infant C classroom there were two cribs ( child A and B) that did not have the infants' names on the cribs. Plan of Correction: The names were placed on the cribs during the inspection.
Standard #: 63.2(17)-1720.1-A Description: Based on a review of seven staff files and an interview with the Executive Director, it was determined that one staff did not have a repeat child abuse and neglect finding on file every five years. Evidence: Staff A's child abuse and neglect finding is dated 12/4/13 and there was no documentation to show that this background check has been updated every five years. Plan of Correction: This background checks has been completed however it is in storage, I will have this background check on site tomorrow.
