Conduct a shelter-in-place drill by the end of next week.
An unannounced inspection was conducted from 340-445. There were 29 children present with the staff. Children were working on homework, reading, and playing games. The emergency drills, plans, and special care procedures were reviewed. There are no children on medication but a file states a child has a serious food allergy. Staff were available for questions and were also observed interacting and assisting the children. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-140-A Description: Based on record review, the program did not obtain a physical report for child #5. Evidence: 1. Child #5's file has start date of August 28, 2017 but the file does not contain a physical examination. Plan of Correction: We will check with the Nurse in the office to see if we can obtain a copy.
