A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 12/14/18 from 3:35pm to 5:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. At the time of entrance there were 70 children ages five months old to five years old in care with 17 staff. Children were observed participating in various activities in the classrooms, eating snack, and during rest period. Records were reviewed for five children and five staff. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. There were no violations found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection. New subsidy requirements became effective on October 17, 2018. The facility has not yet complied with the following requirement(s): 22VAC40-665-540 (TB screening); 22VAC40-665-580 (CPR & First Aid training); 22VAC40-665-770 (procedures for emergencies). The Licensing Inspector reviewed this requirement with the facility to ensure future compliance.
