Comments:
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection in conjunction with a monitoring inspection with the director beginning at 3:45 PM and ending at 6:00 PM. There were 55 school-age children in the care of 4 staff members. The children were observed during outside recreational time. Hand washing and bathroom procedures were observed. Children were observed eating snack which consisted of cheese crackers and fruit juice. The children were also observed playing games, reading and doing homework. Ten children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Four staff members' records were reviewed and in compliance. Fifteen medications were reviewed. Four allergy care plans were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency escape drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The most recent lockdown drill was documented as 9/27/18. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent health inspection was dated 6/5/18. The most recent fire inspection 11/7/18.
