A monitoring inspection was conducted with the director and three staff. The age Range of the children was five years old to eleven years old. The children were observed during snack time and free play. Two staff are current in MAT. Five staff and seven children records were review. All the required paper work was posted. The inspection time was 4:45pm to 6:00pm

Standard #: 22VAC40-185-400-A Description: Based on observation of staff , the center did not provide behavioral guidance that is constructive in nature and age and stage appropriate to redirect children. Evidence: While LI was waiting at the door to be let in and could hear staff yelling at children to sit down and listen, also LI observed Staff yell across the gym at the children to walk and line up. Plan of Correction: We will go over voice tones in our staff meeting.
