Technical Assistance:
Technical assistance was provided regarding the new subsidy requirements that became effective on October 17, 2018. The facility is to review the new requirements.

Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted between 10:00am & 1:00pm, there were 50 children with 10 staff members. Physical plant, staff and children records, medications and emergency procedures were reviewed along with the supplemental health and safety requirements. A licensing inspection was also conducted on the date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Description: Based on review of emergency procedures, the center does not have a procedure in place to address reuniting children with authorized person for pick up of child. Evidence: There is not reunification plan in place.

Plan of Correction: We will add it to our emergency plan.

Standard #: 22VAC40-665-770-B-5
Description: Based on review of emergency procedures, the center does not have a plan for the continuity of operations to ensure that essential functions are maintained during an emergency. Evidence: There is no continuity of operations procedures in place.
