Licensing inspector discussed Daily Health training documentation, previous school attended and emergency contact requirements for staff with Education Administration.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 7:40am-9:40am. There were 30 children in the direct care and supervision of 15 staff. A sample of 4 children?s and 5 staff records were reviewed. The children were observed being dropped off, in group play and eating breakfast. (Number/ if any new staff hired) have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-185-40-I Description: Based on record review and interview with staff, the center did not develop written procedures for injury prevention. Evidence: The center did not develop procedures for injury prevention. Plan of Correction: We will have it done after winter break.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-70-A Description: Based on record review, staff records were incomplete. Evidence: 2 of 5 staff records reviewed were incomplete. Staff A and B were missing a job title. Plan of Correction: Corrected during inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-550-D Description: Based on record review, the staff did not implement a monthly practice evacuation drill. Evidence: An evacuation drill was not practiced for the month of August/2018. Plan of Correction: We were in transition from the previous facilities person and our current facilities person. We were only open for two weeks in August. Drills are currently accurate and up to date.
