Technical Assistance:
Consultation provided on phone cords in the classroom, alternating the time of day that you do monthly escape drills, consistently documenting the specific time of day parents are informed of injuries to their children and outside time for infants.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today with the director, who was present with 33 children with 7 staff providing supervision. Most of the preschoolers were napping during the inspection with most of the infants awake and at the feeding table. Five staff and seven children's files were reviewed and determined to be in compliance. Two children had emergency medications on site. For lunch, the staff reported that the children were served cheese pizza, mixed vegetables, peaches/oranges and milk. The three buses were out picking up schoolagers and could not be inspected today. If you have any questions please contact me, Cathy Aylor, Licensing Inspector at cathy.aylor@dss.virginia.gov or (540) 222-6352. Arrival time: 1: 10 pm Departure time: 3: 45 pm
