An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 9:40am -11:30pm. Upon arrival there were 73 children in care with 14 staff present. A sample of 7 children and 3 staff records were reviewed. Children were observed playing in learning centers and during circle time. Infants were observed sleeping in cribs, being fed and being sung to by staff.
Standard #: 22VAC40-185-60-A Description: Based on a record review the center did not ensure all required information was kept for each enrolled child: Child # 4, enrolled on 09/04/18, did not have documentation of one of the two required emergency contact addresses. Plan of Correction: The following corrective action was provided by the licensee: Missing information will be requested from the parent today 1/3/19. Moving forward management will ensure that all required information is completed during the pre enrollment paperwork appointment.
