A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 1/07/2019 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-B Description: Based on record review, all staff working directly with children did not complete Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff within the first 90 days of employment. Evidence: 1. Staff #6 began with the provider on 9/27/2018 and the center did not have documentation that the staff member had completed the training. Plan of Correction: I will remind her to complete the training.

Staff #6 began with the provider on 9/27/2018 and the center did not have documentation that the staff member had completed the training. Plan of Correction: I will get her signed up for a class.
