A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-2:00pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 43 children were observed in the care of 8 staff. Children were observed during handwashing, transitions to lunch, toileting, infant bottle feeding and other organized activities. 4 staff records, 5 children's records and emergency drills were reviewed. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-665-580-E-1 Description: Based on a sample of records reviewed, documentation of current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) was not on file for 1 out of 4 staff within 30 days of employment. 1. There was no documentation of completed CPR training for Staff #3 [date of employment: 7/25/2018] Plan of Correction: I will obtain a copy of the staff's completed training.
